学英语(English language)

综述

英语有26个字母。元音只包括a、e、i、o、u这五个字母，其余的都为辅音。发音过程中不受阻碍的音即元音，阻碍的则为辅音。

  年龄：
    How old are you? 你几岁了？（多老=存世年限）
    He is 8 years old. 他8岁。（年老即存在多少年之意 / 可换为年纪years of age）
    She’s ten. / She’s ten years old. 她10岁。（单讲年数）

gray和grey都表示灰色，gray是美式拼写，而grey则是英式拼写。
印度人和印第安人都叫Indian，但后者可以用American Indian做下区分。
instead of短语介词即in (the) stead of短语，指代替谁。
